Seasonal Variation of Exceedance Probability Levels
Seasonal variation of the 1%, 10%, 50%, and 99% exceedance probability levels, shown in red, orange, blue and purple, respectively. Values, displayed in
meters and feet, are relative to the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW), Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), or Mean Sea Level (MSL) datums.
The monthly exceedance probability levels were determined by 12 separate extreme value analyses carried out with only the extreme values of the specified month in each year. These levels indicate the months of the year when more extreme levels are likely.
