How to reach: To reach the bench marks from Kake, AK via boat, proceed SSE through Keku Strait for 0.75 km (0.40 nm) to Pup Island, turn ESE and proceed ESE 0.5 km (0.27 nm) through Keku Strait and Rocky Pass, turn SSE and continue 0.43 km (0.23 nm) through Keku Strait, turn SE and proceed 0.1 km (0.05 nm) through Keku Strait to the beginning of the buoyed, dredged channel at daymark "29", turn S and proceed 0.02 km (0.01 nm) past daymark "27", turn NW and proceed 0.02 km (0.01 nm) to the grouping of three islands approximately 200.0 m (656.17 ft) west of part of Keku Strait called "The Summit"; the three islands are connected by a ledge at low water. The bench marks are located in bedrock on the shoreline of the three islands in the cluster along the treeline.
