How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of Rucker Avenue and Hewitt Avenue in Everett, proceed west on Hewitt Avenue, then cross under the Burlington Northern railroad tracks at the termination of Hewitt Avenue at the waterfront, then turn left and proceed SW on Terminal Street for 0.24 km (0.15 mi) to the Port of Everett Pier 1 Complex, then turn right and proceed through the pier 1 NW gate, then head west to the extreme seaward side of pier 1. The bench marks are on the shore area around the pier. The tide gage and staff were at the center of the pier end.
