How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the 29th Avenue exit on State Highway 17 in Alameda, proceed North 29th Avenue (becomes Park Street) to the drawbridge over the channel. The bench marks are along Park Street on the Oakland and Alameda side. The tide gage and staff were on the SW end of the wooden and steel fender on the Alameda side of the Park Street bridge.
