How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 and Old Mobile Highway in Orange Grove (east of Pascagoula), proceed south on Old Mobile Highway across the railroad tracks and then 23 m (75 ft) to a fork in the road, then south on the left fork (Bayou Cumbest Road) for 4.0 km (2.5 mi) to another fork in the road, then take the left fork (Orange Grove Road) for 0.5 km (0.3 mi) to Grand Batteur Road, then right on Grand Batteur Road for 2.1 km (1.3 mi) to the end of the road to the Point of Pines Fish Camp. The bench marks are located in the vicinity of the fish camp and north along Grand Batteur Road. The tide gage and staff were located on the south end of the second pier east of the fish camp building.
