How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from intersection of Azelia Court Road and U.S. 98 / U.S. 319 Highway, which is the entrance to Lanark Village, proceed easterly along U.S. Highway 98 for 9.2 km (5.7 mi) to the entrance to the Florida State University Oceanographic Laboratory. The bench marks are on the Oceanographic Laboratory grounds. The tide gage and staff are on the end of the Oceanographic Laboratory pier.
