How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of Washington Avenue and Biscayne Street at the south side of Miami Beach, proceed east along Biscayne Street to the end of the street and the beginning of the concrete municipal pier. The bench marks are around the pier area and southerly along Government Cut. The gage and staff were on the pier.
