How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 and New Berlin Road in Oceanway, Florida, proceed east along New Berlin Road 7.2 km (4.5 mi) to its junction with Cedar Point Road, then east along Cedar Point road for 7.6 km (4.7 mi) to Pumpkin Hills Road, proceed north on Pumpkin Hills Road for 2.1 km (1.3 mi) to the end of pavement and a gravel road leading north, then north along the gravel road for 0.6 km (0.4 mi) to a sand road to the right, then along the sand road northerly 2.4 km (1.5 mi) to the south bank of Edwards Creek. The bench marks are located along the sand road running parallel with Pumpkin Hill Creek. The tide gage and staff were located on a 4x 4 structure in Pumpkin Hill Creek.
