How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of State Highway 2 (Governor Ritchie Highway) and State Highway 710 (Ordinance Road) in Glen Burnie, proceed ENE on State Highway 710 for 3.5 km (2.2 mi) to State Highway 170 (Fort Smallwood Road), then turn right and proceed NE on State Highway 170 for 3.1 km (1.9 mi) to Fort Armistead Road, then turn left and proceed NW on Fort Armistead Road for 1.8 km (1.1 mi), then turn right and continue for 0.2 km (0.1 mi), then turn left onto a dirt road and go 0.6 km (0.4 mi) to the end of the road. The bench marks are on the sea wall. The tide gage and staff were on the city owned pier.
