How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from Machias ME, head northeast on Dublin St/US-1 toward Ames Way/ME-92. Continue to follow US-1 for 4.1 mi (6.6 km) turn right onto Willow St. Willow St is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) past Randall Loop go 0.1 mi (0.16 km), turn right onto Water St 0.2 mi, turn right onto Cutler Rd/ME-191. Turn left to stay on Cutler Rd/ME-191, Farris Wharf is on the right just before a roundabout. All bench marks are located along Cutler Rd and some are located to the West on Wharf Rd. The pier that the tide gauge is located on is a 280 ft (85.34 m) wooden pier with two buildings on it and the tide station house is toward the end of the pier.
