Global Sea Level Trends - NOAA Tides & Currents
NOAA/CO-OPS operates and maintains 45 of these stations and presents routinely-updated analyses of the long-term trends and variability. In addition the sea level trend analysis has been extended to 240 non-CO-OPS global stations, including over 130 stations in the GLOSS Core Network (GCN). The product suite includes coverage of 66 countries ...
Sea Level Trends - NOAA Tides & Currents
Relative Sea Level Trends. The sea level trends measured by tide gauges that are presented here are local relative sea level (RSL) trends as opposed to the global sea level trend. Tide gauge measurements are made with respect to a local fixed reference on land. RSL is a combination of the sea level rise and the local vertical land motion.
Inundation Dashboard - NOAA Tides & Currents
Enable or disable the display of areas along the coast that would experience inundation based on water levels reaching the minor flood impact threshold. Enable or disable a slider bar displaying areas along the coast that would be flooded if water levels rose by 1 to 10 feet (in 1-foot increments). Darker blue indicates higher water depths.
OFS Map Plots - NOAA Tides and Currents
Lake Michigan and Lake Huron OFS Water Temperature Nowcast. All model nowcast and forecast information is based on a hydrodynamic model and should be considered as computer-generated nowcast and forecast guidance. This near surface water temperature animation was created from the latest LMHOFS nowcast for the Lake Michigan. The nowcast is for ...

NOAA Tides & Currents - NOAA Tides and Currents
apogean tides or tidal currents. Tides of decreased range or currents of decreased speed occurring monthly as the result of the Moon being in apogee. The apogean range (An) of the tide is the average range occurring at the time of apogean tides and is most conveniently computed from the harmonic constants.
