Salinity Nowcast
This near surface water salinity animation was created from the latest NGOFS nowcast for the Northern Gulf of Mexico. The nowcast is for the most recent surface water salinity as simulated by NGOFS when it is forced by recent observations and re-analyzed meteorological and oceanographic products.
