Salinity Nowcast
This near surface water salinity animation was created from the latest GOMOFS nowcast for the
Gulf of Maine. The nowcast is for the most recent surface water salinity as simulated by GOMOFS
when it is forced by recent observations and re-analyzed meteorological and oceanographic products.
