Ice Thickness Forecast Guidance
This ice thickness animation was created from the latest LMHOFS forecast guidance in the Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Mackinac Straits. The forecast guidance is for the next 120 hours of ice thickness as simulated by LMHOFS when it is forced by meteorological parameters that are predicted by the National Weather Service models.
