Observations


How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of Highway 64 and Highway 66 at the airport, proceed east on Highway 66 for 2.3 km (1.4 mi) to a traffic light at the corner of Hess Oil Corporation; turn right and continue south for 2.4 km (1.5 mi) to the entrance gate of St. Croix Container Port. Enter through the gate, drive past the guard shack, and proceed straight through another gate. The bench marks are on the pier and the adjacent pier. The tide gage is located on the south face of the pier.
