Observations


How to reach: From the seaplane base at Sitka, Alaska, proceed 120 km (65 nm) SSE to the community of Port Alexander. From the seaplane float located on the east side of the outer cove, proceed 120 m (400 ft) up the state dock towards the boardwalk. The tide house is located at the base of the fixed pier at the start of the boardwalk. The bench marks are located along the shoreline of the inner cove and out to the point forming the entrance to Port Alexander.
