Observations


How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from Seattle, cross Puget Sound on a Ferry, then via automobile follow signs to Hood Canal Bridge and then to U.S. Highway 101. Follow 101 to Port Angeles, stay on 101 through the town and turn right on Cedar Street, and proceed to port of Port Angeles Log Terminal Pier. The tidal bench marks are located along Marine Drive and in the vicinity of Terminal Pier. The tide gauge is located inside the red and white frame building on the Pier.
