Observations


How to reach: To reach the La Push tide station from Seattle via automobile, cross Puget Sound on a Ferry, and follow signs to the Hood Canal Bridge. After crossing the Hood Canal, continue 23.8 km (14.8 mi) west on WA-104 to US 101, proceed 146.3 km (90.9 mi) west on Highway 101, then take a right onto La Push Road., follow 22.4 km (13.9 mi) on La Push Road in La Push till it turns into Ocean Drive, continue on Ocean Drive and take a left onto River Street followed by a right onto Main Street. The tidal bench marks and tide gauge are located in the vicinity of the Quileute Marina and Tribal School and the Coast Guard Station.
