Observations


How to reach: To reach the tidal bench marks from Concord, CA, go north on Interstate 680 to the Marina Vista Drive exit (# 56, last exit before toll bridge over Sacramento River). Turn left (west) on Marina Vista Drive and proceed 1.3 km (0.8 mi) to Amorco road on the right. This is a private road and not well marked. Cross the railroad tracks and under the railroad overpass to continue right on Amorco Road, proceed 1.3 km (0.8 mi) to a parking lot and guard station. Continue out the wharf to the Operators office where you must sign in. Proceed on foot to the far west end of the wharf and the tide station is on the NW corner.
