Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from Valdez as Richardson Highway turns into Egan Drive, continue west on Egan Drive for two blocks, turn south (left) onto Hazelet Avenue, follow Hazelet to end, turn west (right) and follow signs to ferry terminal. The bench marks were in the general vicinity of the ferry terminal. The tide gauge is located on west end of the pier in a standard 4' X 6' fiberglass tide house.
