Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from the Sitka Post Office located at the intersection of Lincoln and Katlian Streets, travel 0.4 km (0.25 mi) NW on Katlian Street to the Sitka Sound Seafood Dock. Proceed seaward down the pier 76.20 m (250.0 ft) and on the east side of the pier there is a small dry goods storage shed which has a sign above the sliding door which says TIDE STATION. The bench marks are located in the general vicinity of the dock area.
