Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from the Sitka Post Office located at the intersection of Lincoln and Katlian Streets, travel 0.4 km (0.25 mi) NW on Katlian Street to the Sitka Sound Seafood Dock. Proceed seaward down the pier 76.20 m (250.0 ft), on the south side of the pier there is a fish processing building which houses the tide station in the NE corner. The bench marks are located in the general vicinity of the dock area.
