Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks, from Seattle, Interstate 5 north to hwy 104, Edmonds Ferry, take ferry from Edmonds to Kingston, continue north on 104 to junction with 101 north to Port Angeles. Follow 101 west to Route 112 (Neah Bay). Drive approximately 66 miles to Neah Bay. Follow 112 through Neah Bay approximately 1.2 miles to the Makah Tribal Pier (approximately the middle of the bay). The gauge is located on the first floor, under stairs southwest corner of the company office building in the entrance to the locker/bathrooms, to the right of the door, inside an expanded metal cage.
