Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from San Diego Freeway (I-405) in Santa Monica go west on Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) to the Lincoln Boulevard exit. Exit right and proceed NW on Lincoln Boulevard two blocks to Colorado Avenue, turn left on Colorado Avenue and proceed SW until Colorado Avenue dead ends into Santa Monica Municipal Pier. The tidal bench marks are in the vicinity of the Municipal Pier. The tide house is located one deck below the Harbor Master's Office at the seaward end of the pier.
