Location:

To reach the tidal bench marks from La Jolla, CA, from Interstate I-5 traveling south, take exit for Genesee Avenue and go west to Torrey Pines Road, take left on Torrey Pines Road and go south to La Jolla Shores Drive on the right. Take right and go south on La Jolla Shores Drive to Discovery Way on the right (marked Scripps Pier & Aquarium). Then take Discovery Way to the bottom of the hill and to the pier and station. The tidal bench marks are located in the vicinity of Scripps Pier. Tide gauges are in room in the SW corner in the building near offshore end of the Pier.
