Location:

To reach the tidal bench marks from I-10 west, take exit 13 (Routes 43/603) to Waveland, proceed 8.0 km (5.0 mi) to the intersection of Route 43 and US Highway 90, go straight through the intersection east on Nicholson Avenue for 2.6 km (1.6 mi) to Beach Boulevard, then turn right on Beach Boulevard and continue 1.1 km (0.7 mi) to the Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier. The bench marks are located in the vicinity of the pier and along Beach Boulevard. The gage is located near the outer end of the pier on the SW side.
