Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from the junction of U.S. Highway 98 and State Highway 71 at Port St. Joe, proceed NE on State Highway 71 for 10.9 km (6.8 mi) to the F. Eglin Bayless Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway. The bench marks are located on the bridge and north of the bridge along State Highway 71. The tide gage and staff were located on the NW wing wall of the bridge.
