To reach the tidal bench marks from the intersection of U.S. Highway 17 and New Berlin Road in Oleanway, proceed east on New Berlin Road for 8.0 km (5.0 mi) to the y-junction of Cedar Point Road, then east on Cedar Point Road for 3.3 km (2.05 mi) to Boney Road, then north on Boney Road for 5.8 km (3.6 mi) to Starrett Road, then west on Starrett Road for 91 m (300 ft) to a dirt drive, then north on the dirt drive to the first dirt drive leading NE, then NE on this dirt drive to its end and a private residence (Voglesong). The bench marks are located along the dirt drives and Boney Road. The tide gage and staff were located on the covered pier on Edwards Creek.
