Location:
To reach the bench marks from I-95, north of Philadelphia, take exit 46A (Morrisville) and proceed north on US Route 1 for 7.6 km (4.7 mi) to the Route1/Route 32 split, continue north on Route 32 for 1.6 km (1.0 mi) to the first stop light and Pennsylvania Avenue, then proceed east on Pennsylvania Avenue for 3.9 km (2.4 mi) to the main gate into the USX Industrial Park and the pass office on the right. Call Novolog from the pass office to obtain permission to enter the complex, then proceed south through the gate for 1.6 km (1.0 mi) to Old Bordentown Road, continue east on Old Bordentown Road for 1.6 km (1.0 mile) to S. Steel Road, then go south on S. Steel Road for 2.7 km (1.7 mi) to Sinter Road, then proceed east on Sinter Road for 0.6 km (0.4 mi) through the Novolog complex to the south end of the docks. The bench marks are along the face of the container dock, and the tide gage is located near the flagpole at the south end of the dock.
