Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from the Philadelphia Airport take I-95 South for 16.1 km (10.0 mi) to Exit 2 (Market Street 454) in the town of Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, go 452 South for 2.4 km (1.6 mi) to West Delaware Avenue, turn right (east) and go one block to the entrance of Sunoco plant. The bench marks are located in the area around the U.S. Army Defense Logistics Agency. The tide staff and gage were located at the end of the longest wooden pier.
