Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks from I-95 in Philadelphia proceed north on I-95 to the State Street exit, proceed on State Street to the Franklin Armory, turn right into the armory, proceed to the boat ramp. Proceed north by boat on the Delaware River for approximately 1.6 km (1 mi) to the Tacony-Palmyra bridge. The bench marks and tide station are located on the north abutment of the lift section of the bridge.
