Location:
To reach the bench marks from Exit 49 - Stiles Street of I- 95 North in New Haven, proceed south along the exit ramp for 0.3 km (0.2 mile) to the stop sign, turn right and proceed south on Stiles Street for 0.2 km (0.1 mile) to the next stop sign at Alabama Street. Turn right and continue west on Alabama Street for 0.2 km (0.1 mile) to Waterfront Street, then turn left and proceed south on Waterfront Street to the entrance of the Wisvest Power Plant at the end of the street. Visitors must check in with the guard at the gate. Continue south on the entrance road along the water to the fuel dock. The bench marks are located on the pier and along the entrance road, and the tide station is on the south side of the offshore end of the pier.
