Location:

To reach the tidal bench marks from I-95 south in Fall River, take Exit 5 following signs to Route 6 East at the bottom of the ramp, then turn left making a U-turn onto Route 138 South, Water Street, then go 0.3 km (0.2 mi) south to the Fall River Lines State Pier. The bench marks are located in the vicinity of the State Pier. The tide gauge is located on the south inshore end of the State Pier.
