Location:
To reach the tidal bench marks, from the Kahului Airport proceed out the airport exit, Keolani Place, 1.8 km (1.1 mi) until the intersection of Keolani Place, Hana Highway (State Highway 36) and Kuihelani Avenue (Route 380) also known as Dairy Road is reached. Turn SW onto Dairy Road and continue 1.6 km (1.0 mi) to South Puunene Avenue (Route 350). Turn north onto South Puuene and proceed 1.6 km (1.0 mi) to Kaahumanu Avenue (State Highway 32). Turn east and proceed 0.2 km (0.1 mi) to North Wharf Street and turn north. Proceed 0.2 km (0.1 mi) to the gate of Pier #2, enter the gate and proceed to the NW corner of Pier #2 in the tide station. The tide gage and bench marks were in the vicinity.
