NOAA and NOAA Partnership Stations Relative to the Storm ![]() | Storm Analysis No further QuickLooks will be posted for this storm unless oceanographic conditions warrant and/or the National Hurricane Center (NHC) issues a new Tropical Storm Warning for the U.S. Coastline. As of 08/17/2009 10:30 CDT, water levels from the Florida panhandle to southeastern Louisiana are slightly elevated and range between 0.6 to 1.2 ft above predicted. Water levels along the Gulf coast of Florida are decreasing and beginning to return to normal ranges closer to predicted values. Wind gusts up to 24 knots can still be observed at Pensacola, FL, however wind gusts are decreasing at other stations.
