Field Surface Currents Forecast Guidance
This near surface currents velocity animation was created from the latest TBOFS forecast guidance in the Tampa Bay. The forecast is for the next 48 hours of current velocities as simulated by TBOFS when the Bay is forced by forecast products from the National Weather Service's North American Model (NAM) and Extra Tropical Storm Surge (ETSS), and the Navy's Coastal Ocean Model (NCOM).
