This surface water level animation was created from the latest CBOFS2 forecast guidance in the Chesapeake Bay. The forecast is for the next 48 hours of water levels as simulated by CBOFS2 when the bay is forced by forecast products from the National Weather Service's North American Model (NAM) and Extra Tropical Storm Surge (ETSS), and the Navy's Coastal Ocean Model (NCOM).
