The Tide Predictions page provides access to tide (water level) predictions for the station indicated in the upper left corner of the page.

If the station is currently active, a plot showing tide predictions for yesterday and today will appear when the page is opened. To see the plot enlarged, click the link to the right of the plot. Use the form below the plot to change the dates and units. Link to other types of data for the same station using the links on the left. Links are highlighted only for data types that are available for the station. Where available, the Nowcast Forecast page provides another type of water level prediction.

Click the backward arrow to the left of the plot to view data earlier in time, or click the forward arrow to the right of the plot to view data later in time.

Use the form below the plot to change the dates, units, time zone, data inteval, and datum. Click the View Plot button to refresh the plot. Click the View Data button to see the data as text. Click the Reset button to reset all the options to their default values.

Enter dates in the format yyyymmdd. For example, January 23, 2005 should be entered as "20050123". The default dates are yesterday and today. Any date range can be entered, but plots will take longer to load if a large date range is chosen.

The data can be displayed in either feet or meters, and in either GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or local time. The default unit for water level is feet. The default time zone is GMT.

A tidal datum is a standard elevation used as a reference to measure water levels. MLLW, or Mean Lower Low Water, is the default datum. The other datum option is STND, which stands for Station Datum.
