Observations for New York/New Jersey PORTS 2013-05-22 10:48:24 EDT

Water levels are falling at three reporting stations, with readings between 1.4 and 7.5 feet. Water level at Sandy Hook is 1.3 feet, with no trend data available. Levels are above predictions by up to 0.6 feet at Kings Point and Sandy Hook.

Currents at Gowanus Flats LBB 32 are ebbing at 1 knot.

Reported winds are generally light, between 2 and 6 knots with gusts to 9 knots.

Reported air temperatures range from the high 50s to the low 60s °F, and reported water temperatures range from the high 50s to the mid 60s °F.

Barometric pressure is rising at all four reporting stations, with readings between 1012.5 and 1013.3 mb.

Air gap is 154.9 feet and increasing at Bayonne Bridge Air Gap.
